It’s been reported at LinksysInfo that WRT54G v5 is not compatible with 3rd party firmwares. The problem lies on the amount of RAM and the OS is VxWorks instead of Linux.

If you want to use 3rd Party Firmwares, DO NOT BUY A WRT54G v5.

Last night, I drove another friend to the south western part of Penang. It took us about 45 minutes of slow driving through hilly terrain.

Another funeral … and boy the place sure is faaarrr. The usual routine. Pay respects to the deceased. Then pay the “summon” and write down my name on the condolences book.

This time around, things were a bit more open. On our table were the usual drinking water, peanuts, fried mee, bong, sweets with red string tied to them and of course pot.

It went a few rounds and I couldn’t help but notice a lady that couldn’t stop looking at us. More people arrived and many more got lost. The venue was pretty hard to find.

After about 1 hour, I got up and signaled my friend to leave. We waved a few hands and made off. The drive back was surprisingly fast.

What is the weirdest funeral you’ve been to? I’ve heard of one which the dead woke up and scared the shit outta everyone, lived another 5 years and really died after that.

I just filled in a form which states my religion as “No Religion”. So am I considered an atheist?

An atheist is a person who denies the existence of god. I do believe in a universal God but not religion. I feel that religions are man made and it’s faiths, believes and customs are the results of human interpretation. We all know the consequences of misinterpretation.

Do not think I have no respect for religions. I believe everyone has their right of choice. It’s only despicable when they force/cheat someone into it or badmouth other religions. I would not believe anyone’s God would approve of that.

So what do you call a person who believes in God but not in religion?

It all started with me meeting vinzanity and raz at Sungai Nibong Bus Station. I wanted to drive earlier but chose the bus option. Driving in KL for me is hell since I don’t know the roads there. I would usually drive down then take a cab to go anywhere I want. This time I wanted someone else to do the driving.

f1ex was already in KL waiting for us. He called me a few times while we were in the bus. I had asked vinzanity to bring along a wireless router so we could share any Internet connection we could find. f1ex had checked into Federal Hotel and of course Internet access is not free. He described to me their service provider and I told him I’d get back to him. Me and vinzanity did some checks in the bus and SMSed f1ex a working username/password.
