Credit cards are a pain in the butt. They offer convenience but at a price.

Credit card enrollment officers are always at shopping malls offering free gifts when you enroll and even more gifts when you recommend your mother, father, grandfather, sister, great grand aunty’s niece … you get my drift.

When you don’t have one, of course you want to have one. Then you get another one and another and then another. Then you begin to wonder … why do I need that many credit cards?

More credit cards = More credit card debts

Then comes the other schemes to make even more money. They provide you a way to consolidate your credit card debts but the real fact is they make you fall deeper and deeper into the pit.

One of my friend’s father passed away 2 days ago and I went to his funeral last night. Now this is a Chinese style funeral lasting for 5 days.

It’s customary for relatives and friends to offer their last respects during these days. There are variations of 3, 5, 7 days funerals, depending on the time needed.

A 7.0 Richter scale earthquake had hit Nicobar Islands. Just 362km from Penang.

I’m typing this post as I’m listening to the news on NTV7. This guy on the phone gives me the creeps. He sounds so unsure about the current situation.

But according to Jabatan Kaji Cuaca Pulau Pinang, all is well for now but stay alert for any tsunami alert.

I had vegetarian lunch today.

“Come come … I’ve got vegetarian curry, vegetarian fried fish, vegetarian sweet sour pork, vegetarian roast chicken, vegetarian cuttlefish …. ”

Woah … I’m definately not a fan of artificial vegetarian creations. I mean what the hell are they trying to do? Be it vegetarian beef, chicken, cat, fish, pork or crocodile, it’s made the same damn ingredients. Beans.

My choice was some real vegetables, more real vegetables and tofu.

Then this question popped up in my head.

Can Muslims consume vegetarian pork? (No offense intended. Just a curious question.)

Yeah I know it’s old news that poor Singkapoh Chow Ah Lian got her blog posts and email box deleted.

I think this case is quite isolated and targeted.

Based on the vague details she gave, it could have been countless ways but session hijacking is out of the question because it takes time to delete 3000 mails. Then again I may be wrong.

I think the person trailed her. Blogger.SG con was the perfect opportunity. It’s really a dumb practice to update your blog or check your email at public unsecured wireless hotspots. Usernames and password are easily sniffed off the air. I hope bloggers who did exactly that had already changed their passwords by now.

Several minor blasts shook parts of London again just two weeks from the first attacks. So far one had been reported hurt.

Police evacuated three subway stations and a bus after reports of blasts in that area. Emergency teams were sent to the Warren Street, Shepherds Bush and Oval stations.

Tony Blair had to cancel his afternoon appointments when he received news of the current situation. The Prime Minister is scheduled for a press conference due in just minutes on BBC.
