I was just watching the Discovery channel last night and one of the animals featured was the anteater.

Anteaters feed almost exclusively on ants and termites, whose nests they rip open with their powerful forelimbs. They also take some beetle larvae and bees, and in captivity giant anteaters accept some fruit. The prey of anteaters adheres to their long, sticky tongues. It is swallowed, and part of the digestive process involves grinding by the unusually muscular pyloric region of the stomach.

The tongue is also long. Anteaters secrete a sticky substance from their salivary glands that coats the tongue when they feed. The ears are small and rounded, and the eyes are small.

Save yourself some money and buy a pet anteater if you have termite problems

My cousin living in Austria came down for holidays and to renew his IC to the new MyKard. I was driving them after dinner and we needed to kill 1 hour. He had a friend from Ipoh with us and I thought it would be a nice time to show them the underground scenes of Penang. A tour you won’t get from any tourguide.

It rained so hard suddenly and I’m all wet. Car parked about 50 meters, I had to dash in the heavy rain. It’s a good thing to see rain though. Will definately freshen the air abit.

I’m thinking of buying an mp3 recorder/player. I’m not much a mp3 whore, so I guess 1-5 GB should be more than enough. It should come with a quality built in mic because it would be used mainly for recording. Any good recommendations?

Visine from Pfizer used to be my eyedrop of choice. Until I found Naphcon A from Alcon, the leader in eyecare products.

It contains 2 active ingredients … namely Naphazoline Hydrochloride (special decongestant to clear away redness) and Pheniramine Maleate (an antihistamine to stop itching).

I just had the worst lunch ever. Being a sucker for new places, I dropped by a chinese restaurant for lunch.

I ordered “Roast Chicken & Roast Duck Noodles” and I was given “Roast Pork & Roast Duck Noodles” instead.

I didn’t complain but I think they noticed their mistake. Both the ladies were looking at me and mumbling something. They were definately talking about me because I was the only one in the shop at that time. Both the customers before me must had cursed in silence and left.

Tastewise … fail … service … fail … chilli sauce … fail. The only thing that appeared normal was the chinese tea. The noodles tastes like the one who made it had a bad day.

Well … too bad. This will be my first and last time there.

A good friend’s mother passed away and we helped out a bit with the procession. The hearse got loaded up and we followed closely.

This is one of the traffic police who provided us with a clear path as the hearse went for a little detour.

I was driving my car while my friend Daniel had his butt out of the window and happily snapping shots. My only worry was he’d fall off my car. The cops were cool though.
