Take my blood

If anyone needs my blood (not now, but only after the 11th November 2006), please contact me and tell me why you or your loved one need my blood. Vampires need not apply.

My blood is on a first come first served basis though I have the right to execute my second come first served policy as I see fit. I will only donate if I’m fit for it. I have to be feeling well on that day and the initial blood pressure and blood count tests need to be satisfactory before the donation. If the medical officer says that I am unable to donate, then sorry … I tried.

The myths of blood donation

Mention blood donation and most people will steer away from it. What are the common excuses you hear from people who try to avoid blood donation? It is an almost painful process and is in fact beneficial for you.

I don’t have enough blood. I’m too thin.
If you don’t have enough blood, chances are high that you can’t be walking normal now. Assuming that you don’t have enough blood because you’re thin is just plain stupid. Fat people do not have more blood nor are they more eligible for blood donation. Blood is usually regenerated within 48 hours. They will only take less than 7% of your total blood volume.

This is not America!

Don’t you just hate drivers who think they own the road?

I was happily driving along a small lane just wide enough for 2 cars. There was a lady driver in front of me in a kancil. As we got to almost the end of the road, I could see 2 oncoming cars slowing down.

This lady in front of me just swayed to opposite right lane and stopped her car outside of a shop … causing a deadlock. I had to reverse my car to allow those from the opposite side to cross.

How could someone be so braindead and selfish? I drove up beside her and rolled down my window as she got out from her car.

“Hey lady! This is not America! Keep left.”

Why can’t people just let me be?

Do you ever wonder why most people are always judging what you do? The problem lies solely on their addiction of judgment. You are never perfect to them … then again who is?

As much as I would love to accept their views, they often contradict everything they say or do. They expect you to do things their way. When it’s not done their way … you’re wrong. The matter of fact is they are originally wrong to have things done their way.

I don’t expect people to buy my crap so don’t make me buy yours.

Rituals

I fuckin hate rituals. Why do people even bother to perform elaborate rituals for simple tasks?

Christmas is over but it ain’t too late to ask for a Linux-based Handheld Gaming Device.

Drugs are not cool. Sixthseal is.

I’m an avid reader of SixthSeal.com and I’m sure most of you should know by now that he got himself on the front page of our local tabloid. Not good at all. Here’s one from TheStar.

It appears that some fuckwit reader of Nanyang Siang Pau decided to write to the daily complaining about his site. From there on … everything got blown out of proportion.

Blogs are about the freedom of expression. I can’t deny the fact that what he did was somewhat controversial. Personally, I do not consider Huai Bin’s blog as a drug blog. It does help someone to understand about the effects of drugs without experimenting themselves.

Please don’t make a big deal out of this. It takes presence of bad to learn about good.
