What is your favorite condiment?

I know a lot of people who can’t eat without their favorite condiments .. be it soya sauce, tomato sauce, pepper, fish sauce, chilli sauce, mustard, etc.

Soya sauce used to accompany all of my meals when I was young. That was until my mom made me drink the whole bottle of soya sauce. (I only finished half)

I guess a lesson well learnt. I hardly touch condiments nowadays.

Good food should be eaten without any condiments, unless they come with the meal.

Using condiments to enhance/spoil their taste is an act frowned upon by most chefs and cooks. It’s disrespecting their skills.

If you run across food that is tasteless and needs lots of condiments to enhance, forcing you to cook it the second time, it’s bad food and should be avoided forever.

Can Muslims consume vegetarian pork?

I had vegetarian lunch today.

“Come come … I’ve got vegetarian curry, vegetarian fried fish, vegetarian sweet sour pork, vegetarian roast chicken, vegetarian cuttlefish …. ”

Woah … I’m definately not a fan of artificial vegetarian creations. I mean what the hell are they trying to do? Be it vegetarian beef, chicken, cat, fish, pork or crocodile, it’s made the same damn ingredients. Beans.

My choice was some real vegetables, more real vegetables and tofu.

Then this question popped up in my head.

Can Muslims consume vegetarian pork? (No offense intended. Just a curious question.)
