Adsense Wh0re

As you guys have noticed, I’m such an Adsense wh0re. I hope to generate more funds from this site to pay for my hosting, domain, food, water, shelter, toys, transport, hobbies, pot, fuel, entertainment, haircut, etc. You know the drill.

I’m still testing the effects of different ad colors, placing and sizes. Please bear with me.

    Hello, and good luck! :D

Through a few experiments, I found that the ones that camouflage as part of our website works best. In less than 2 mths, I am almost hitting USD100. But then, I have them on 6 of my sites. It is the accidental clicks that works most ‘cos I found that during the night (assuming all of Msia are sleeping), the clicks are impressive. So, my conclusion is other parts of the world are surfing and somehow stumbled on my site and then, decide to check out those links. Google is great. Anyway, whatever I know are gained from LiewCF’s tips.

I average at about USD80 per month. I’ve used subtle ads for some time and would like to test out if I get better results by making them stand out. Thanks for the tip anyway :)

I’ve found the quality of your ads will improve if you go carefully through your theme and remove the word “blog” wherever it appears. There’s a LOT of blogging ads being served, and if people reading your site are other bloggers, they will tend to avoid these ads, but may well click on other ads.

The best adsense tip - Create content people actually want to read.

oh, and don’t steal news articles and post them as your own.

I must admit that I haven’t been original lately. Some of the posts are copied from other pages but I do include links to the original page. Is that ok? I may have forgotten to do so for some posts though :p

I’m not clicking on the black or pink ones. Maybe the others ;)
