Tokyo Summer Sonic Concert … hmmm wouldn’t that be nice? Better if I could get it for free … but a lousy RHCP t shirt I won a few weeks back stood in my way today. This was a shot at an all expense paid trip to Japan and catch great bands like Metallica, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and many other gay bands not worth mentioning.

All I have to do is be the first caller when Serena C of HITZ.FM mentioned the queue to call. Simple … and I did! But I got rejected when she asked me if I did win anything in the past 30 days. Here’s a partial conversation I recorded.

No use lying because I don’t want to loose the prize when I really win it in the end. They do check your particulars in their database. You have to be the one among god knows how many who answers the most correct questions in a row within 30 seconds. For getting through and trying, you will win something too but obviously I was denied. I wouldn’t have done well anyway. All the questions was about Weezer and frankly I don’t know much about them. Some other “lucky” guy from KL managed to answer only 1 correct. He won a goodie bad for that. I bet it’s another lousy t shirt.

Well … I’ll wait for next month or move on to the next station. I’ll just have to make sure it’s not a lousy prize again
