Help map out the world

Wikimapia
If you dig maps like me, then Wikimapia will give you endless amount of browsing time.

Based on Google Maps, it’s a collaborative site which enables users to map out any building, street, etc you know so other users can view them.

This Web 2.0 app is great for finding your way around places you are not familiar with. As a matter of fact, it helped me find my friend’s home when I was travelling down to KL. It also helped me find my way back to the highway easily.

Another time I used this was when I had to map out the location of a particular address. I just printscreen the map and then used Photoshop to draw an accurate map on top of the image. Very handy!
