Tokyo Drift a pile of crap

I’m always one of those who watch movies later. Never liked rushing to catch the first glimpse of any movies when they are released. This one is one movie I fell asleep halfway. That’s how crappy it is.

Storyline gets an F- from me. Yeah the sounds and sights of roaring engines, screeching of drifting tires and girls in skimpy outfits may get your adrenaline pumping for a start but that’s just about it.

I mean who in the right mind would hand over their car keys to a total stranger and let him bash up his car for nothing and still have him drive for his team crashing car after car? The dude can’t even drift for starters!

I had it when Sean drifts through a crowded street in Tokyo filled with human pins and not striking any of them. It’s the same crap that made me fall asleep when Vin Diesel flew between barbed wires in Triple X.

If you wanna see cool tuned cars drifting like rubber cost a dollar each, go ahead but if you want a great story, this movie is a total dissapointment.

hot cars + hot girls took my attention off the story for awhile, which was indeed a tad shallow.

    But still..

I remember seeing the trailer some time ago. I started laughing out loud cause I knew this movie was going to be a bomb. You don’t have any of the stars in leading roles, so why bother? I certainly didn’t, hence why I saved my money and free movie tickets on this “installment” of The Fast & The Furious franchise. Personally, they probably should have stopped after the first film. There was no need for a sequel and certainly not a trilogy.
