Naphcon A

Visine from Pfizer used to be my eyedrop of choice. Until I found Naphcon A from Alcon, the leader in eyecare products.
It contains 2 active ingredients … namely Naphazoline Hydrochloride (special decongestant to clear away redness) and Pheniramine Maleate (an antihistamine to stop itching).
Benzalkonium Chloride is used as a preservative while Boric Acid, Edetate Disodium, Purified Water, Sodium Borate and Sodium Chloride are used as inactives.
What sets this product apart from Visine is it’s ability to reduce eye puffiness on top of getting rid of the red eyes. The only setback is it’s side reaction. It may cause your already red eye to get even redder if overdosed. One to two drops an eye is sufficient.
Oh yeah … you may be asked for your ID when you purchase this over the counter. And yes … Eye-Mo is like using saline, that’s all.
